Position Overview

The S/4HANA Data Migration Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end data migration activities for the S/4HANA transformation program. This role will lead the data migration strategy, oversee data extraction, transformation, loading, and ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with business requirements. The Data Migration Lead will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical experts, and external vendors to deliver a smooth transition from legacy SAP ECC systems to SAP S/4HANA RISE.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and own the data migration strategy and roadmap for the S/4HANA program
  • Lead end-to-end data migration lifecycle: scoping, data assessment, extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading into S/4HANA
  • Work with business and functional teams to identify critical data objects (e.g., customer, vendor, materials, assets) and establish migration rules
  • Drive data quality management by establishing validation rules, reconciliation reports, and error-handling procedures
  • Coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams to setup migration tools and methodologies (e.g., SAP Data Services, LTMC, LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit, SNP tools, etc)
  • Manage stakeholder expectations by reporting progress, risks, and issues to leadership and ensuring alignment with program timelines
  • Oversee mock migration cycles, cutover activities, and post-migration validation to ensure business readiness
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all data migration-related activities in the program

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of SAP data migration experience
  • Proven track record in leading data migration for large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Procurement
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Data Migration tools (LTMC, SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS, LSMW, etc
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, data validation, and reconciliation methods
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within strict deadlines during cutover phases
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance regulations (e.g., PDPA/GDPR, SOX) is a plus
  • Experience in Singapore healthcare industry or public sector is a plus
