Job summary

Verbrec in New Plymouth, New Zealand, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering and construction projects across energy, water and infrastructure sectors. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on client expectations, while promoting safety, governance, and commercial excellence.

You will collaborate with Australian and New Zealand teams, travel to industrial sites, and contribute to the company’s decarbonisation and renewable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering and construction projects within energy, industrial infrastructure, water or wastewater treatment environments.
• Developing and managing client relationships (Key Account Management).
• Driving commercial and safety success at all stages of projects.
• Generating and reviewing tenders and proposals.
• Managing teams and communications internally and externally.
• Developing the project, governance and commercial acumen of our teams.
• Leading or participating in key projects, ensuring learnings are shared.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering and construction projects within energy, industrial infrastructure, water or wastewater treatment environments.
• Develop and manage key client relationships and accounts.
• Drive commercial success and safety at all stages of projects.
• Prepare and review tenders and proposals.
• Lead or participate in project teams and governance activities.
• Share learnings and ensure project governance across teams.
