Job description

This award-winning project management firm has an outstanding reputation across the construction industry, delivering high-profile projects to both the public and private sectors. They are currently seeking an intermediate-level project manager with ideally vertical project experience in PM consultancy.

The role involves:

1. Establishing the project by appointing consultants, producing feasibility studies, monitoring statutory processes, and advising on procurement options.
2. Managing the construction phase, including responsibilities for QA/risk management, financial reporting, budget control, programming, defects, remedial works, and project reporting.
3. Managing stakeholders and conducting or chairing meetings.

Candidates should come from a construction consultancy or client-side background with 3-6 years of NZ-based experience across industries such as aged care, high-rise residential, health, education, utilities, and rail. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, or Engineering is essential. Strong leadership qualities, a tenacious attitude, and passion for the profession are important. The ability to articulate issues, build relationships, and develop your professional brand will contribute to success in this environment.

Salary: $90K - $120K + benefits and excellent career advancement opportunities.
