We have a Project Manager role to work in our Auckland office on our Buildings team, focusing on Project Delivery through all project lifecycles, on a range of sectors and projects. We're looking for someone who has at least three years' experience as a client-side Project Manager in the vertical construction space.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with five-plus years' relevant New Zealand-based experience to join our vibrant team in Auckland. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in project delivery, taking ownership of key aspects of projects and engaging directly with clients.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in managing vertical or horizontal build environment through design, procurement, and contract management phases.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day project requirements with Senior oversight as required, through clear direction, strong verbal and written communication, chairing and minuting regular meetings, encouraging and supporting the team to achieve deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and address risks and issues to minimize and mitigate impact to the projects.
  • Think ahead and plan for the success of your project.
  • Create and implement plans and strategies at a project level to achieve goals.
  • Manage the delivery of projects to fully satisfy client needs and expectations.
  • Proactively manage client expectations and relationships.
  • Knowledge and basic application of NZS3910/3916 contracts.
  • Clear, concise communication (written and verbal), active listening, and adaptability to connect with a broad range of people.
  • Professional approach, manner, and presentation.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop your career.
