Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering transmission, distribution, industrial, or generation projects.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering design projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen with budgets, contracts and risk management experience.
  • Proven leadership with emphasis on safety, quality and team performance.
  • Ability to build and sustain client relationships in consulting or delivery environments.
  • Proficiency with project controls and scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

As a Project Manager for our Transmission & Distribution team, you will lead the planning and delivery of projects across the power sector, with a focus on Transmission & Distribution. You will take a strategic approach to delivering outcomes balancing technical excellence, commercial performance, and client partnership.

You will
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams across electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical scope.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning through to execution and closeout.
  • Drive a safety first culture and ensure quality outcomes across all deliveries.
  • Provide robust commercial management, including budgets, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Oversee project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships, contributing to repeat work and growth opportunities.
  • Support business development and bids, bringing a strategic lens to positioning Jacobs in the market.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strategic mindset and understanding of how to navigate complex stakeholder environments while delivering high quality technical outcomes. You'll bring

  • Experience in any of the following transmission, distribution, industrial, or generation projects.
  • Demonstrated capability managing multi-disciplinary engineering design projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and project risk.
  • Proven project leadership skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and team performance.
  • Ability to build and sustain client relationships in a consulting or delivery environment.
  • Proficiency in project controls and scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project).
