Overview

With the 2025/2026 Civil Construction season shifting into gear, several of my clients are seeking experienced Project Engineers to join their expanding businesses. If you're a Project Engineer with Major New Zealand Civil Infrastructure experience and seeking something challenging, this is for you. This role will see you reporting to Senior leadership, planning, monitoring, controlling and programming. You will be communicating at all levels throughout the project, including clients, contractors, sub-contractors and the general public.

About you

• 5+ years’ experience in managing large civil construction projects
• Hold a relevant Civil Engineering qualification
• Liaising with clients, contractors, staff and general public
• Provide strong team leadership and support
• Resource planning, documentation control, monitoring and reporting both financial and site progress
• Be health & safety, quality and environmentally driven
• Managing risks and issues

Must have

• New Zealand Residency or a valid work visa
• Hold a clean Full Class 1 licence
• Ability to pass all pre-employment tests
• Proven Civil Engineering skills with strong time management skills
