Job summary

sKids Kingsway is seeking a Centre Leader to lead and manage the site. The role offers up to a minimum of 15 contracted hours per week, Monday to Friday with no weekend work. The programme also runs during school holidays, offering opportunities to gain more hours during these periods.

Hours are Before School Care 7:00am–8:30am and After School Care 2:30pm–6:00pm, with availability from 2:30pm essential. You will deliver activities, supervise children, and work with families and staff to run a

Job Description

We are recruiting for a Centre Leader to lead & manager our sKids Kingsway site. This role offers up to a minimum of 15 contracted hours per week (Monday to Friday only, no weekends work required!). We also run the programme during school holidays and you'll have the opportunity to gain more hours during our holiday programmes!

Working Hours (Monday to Friday):

• Before School Care: 7:00am - 8:30am


• After School Care: 2:30pm - 6:00pm (availability from 2:30pm is essential)

About the Role

You will:

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and caring individuals who enjoy working with children.

You'll bring:

• The legal right to work in New Zealand


• Reliable transport to our 2 new sites within Kumeu. Ideal candidates would need to be located around Kumue for ease of transportation.


• A positive, energetic, and can-do attitude


• Experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps, or similar


• Leadership or supervisory experience (for Programme Manager and Assistant Programme Manager roles)


• Confidence working with groups of children


• Applicants applying for Programme Manager and Assistant Programme Manager positions must be 20 years or older, in accordance with the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004
