Join PwC’s Transformation Design and Delivery team in Pōneke / Wellington as we work to deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients across Aotearoa. Our team is experienced in large scale transformation delivery with capabilities in planning, orchestrating, and driving the delivery of outcomes - often involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers and vendors - and across different locations. Programme and Project Management is a critical enabler of this and is the foundation of our most significant engagements.

Leverage your expertise in transformation delivery to make a significant impact for our clients in the following areas:

Responsibilities
  • Transformation Design and Governance: Lead the delivery of major transformation programmes across diverse clients and industries, providing strategic guidance and governance to ensure successful transformation execution.
  • Transformation Management and Major Project Delivery: Leverage your expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients by managing initiatives within budget, scope, and timelines. Serve as a trusted advisor in project steering and advisory roles, performing health-checks, recovering troubled projects, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, and building deep stakeholder relationships.
  • Organisational and Technology Change Management: Drive successful organisational change and technology adoption by developing and implementing robust change management strategies and plans, fostering stakeholder commitment, and driving enduring change.

Skills and experience
  • Several years of experience in practical application of structured project management and project design methods, with direct experience in Senior Project and/or Programme Manager role(s).
  • Skills to manage project scope and objectives to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Solid understanding of industry and market-specific challenges organisations, particularly those in the South Island are facing.
  • An established network in the Ōtautahi and Te Waipounamu market and a business development mindset.
  • Experience in Programme delivery with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Innovative and strategic thinking via creative use of existing technologies, a flexible approach to problem solving and ability to produce outputs that are easily understood by others.
