Job summary

The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is seeking a Programme Coordinator to join the Contracts Team in Wellington. This permanent, full-time role focuses on linking frontline staff, training providers and partners to help job seekers access programmes that build skills and confidence.

You will promote programmes, manage referrals, and foster strong relationships with providers. The role values initiative, collaboration and a proactive approach to improving participation and employment

This is a rewarding role where you'll work alongside MSD frontline staff, community partners, training providers, and stakeholders to help people access programmes that build skills, confidence, and pathways into sustainable employment.

Every day brings something different. One moment you'll be promoting opportunities to frontline teams, the next you'll be meeting with providers, supporting client referrals, analysing programme performance, or helping identify solutions that improve outcomes for job seekers and their whānau.
