Employer Sponsored Jobs in Auckland is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor/Operator to lead a close-knit production team and ensure daily manufacturing runs smoothly.

You will coordinate daily activities, maintain production standards, prepare batches, supervise equipment like mixers and fillers, and support the Production Manager to deliver high-quality products. Sponsorship is available for suitable overseas candidates; full visa sponsorship may be provided.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food manufacturing or commercial food production.
Experience in a Production Supervisor/Team Leader or similar role.
Experience working within an approved food control plan environment.
Practical knowledge of food safety, quality control and manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily production activities and support the team to achieve targets.
Supervise production processes to ensure schedules are completed on time and in full.
Prepare batches and manufacture products according to approved recipes and specifications.
Accurately weigh ingredients and verify their quality before production.
Operate mixers, fillers and other food manufacturing machinery.
Monitor production output and maintain consistent product quality.
Ensure recipes, measurements and production procedures are followed accurately.
Identify production issues and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and GMP.
