Job summary

Jora New Zealand in Hamilton is seeking a Production Team Member to join our manufacturing team focused on delivering automation and sensing technology. You will assemble products to quality specifications, perform tests, and support production planning to meet schedules.

You will also assist with material receipting, dispatch of finished goods and spares, undertake cycle counts and maintain documentation in line with quality standards and lean practices.

Qualifications

  • Secondary level education is required.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement would be an advantage.
  • Computer literate, with SAP experience an advantage.
  • Proactive approach to challenges and problem solving.
  • Current drivers licence.
  • F endorsement and OSH certificate would be an advantage.
  • Positive, team-based attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out testing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide peer training and support, including managing tasks to meet the production plan.
  • Receive materials against quality control inspection standards and dispatch finished goods and spares as required.
  • Support accurate inventory cycle counts, stock counts, and stock movements.
  • Maintain all documentation in accordance with company and relevant quality standards.

As a Production Team Member, you will be part of the Manufacturing team focused on delivering automation and sensing technology within New Zealand and internationally. This team plays a key role in ensuring customer commitments are met through the delivery of high-quality products and efficient production support.

In this role, you will assemble our company products within expected quality parameters, carry out testing to ensure quality standards are met, and support the management of production tasks to meet the production plan. You will also assist with material receipting, dispatch of finished goods and spares, inventory counts, and peer training and support.
