About the Role

You'll play a key role in coordinating production schedules, ensuring materials and resources are available, and keeping operations running efficiently. What You'll Do
  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet delivery deadlines
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure material availability
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimise efficiency
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve workflow
Requirements
  • Proven experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production processes, workflow management, and resource allocation
  • Experience in the steel, metal fabrication, or manufacturing industry (preferred)
  • Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, or similar)
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively across teams
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies (desirable)
