Job summary

a2 Nutritionals NZ Limited in Pokeno is seeking 5 Production Operators to join our powder manufacturing plant. You will work across different production processes, operating equipment and helping meet production targets while upholding quality, food safety and health and safety standards.

We are looking for reliable, hands-on people who are quick to learn, work well in a team and take pride in doing a job well. This is a full-time role with a 12-hour shift pattern across days and nights.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and a strong team player.
• Physically able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Able to read, write and perform basic maths.
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow quality, food safety and health and safety procedures.
• Monitor production and complete checks and documentation accurately.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with cleaning, maintenance and continuous improvement activities as required.

The role:

We’re looking for 5 Production Operators to join our powder manufacturing plant in Pōkeno. You’ll work across different production processes, operating equipment and helping ensure we meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety and health and safety.

We’re looking for reliable, hands‑on people who are quick to learn, work well in a team and take pride in doing a job well.

This is a full‑time position, working a minimum of 42 hours per week. We currently run 24/7 and the roster pattern is 4 days on days (12-hour shift 6am - 6pm) 4 days off, then 4 nights on(12-hour shift 6pm - 6am)therefore, you must be available to work both day and night shifts.
