A multi-national food manufacturer in Auckland is seeking a Production Operator to join their food production team. Job Details

Are you experienced as a machine or production operator in the food manufacturing industry and seeking a new opportunity? This multi-national food manufacturer is hiring a Production Operator to support their food production team. Although initially a temporary role, it offers significant long-term potential and opportunities for advancement into more senior positions within the company.

About the role:
  • Follow production plans and recipes, making necessary adjustments during blending and cooking
  • Assist with line setup and pre-operational checks of form seal machines
  • Maintain food safety and quality standards, completing all required documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably with bulk weighing and blending of ingredients
  • Physically capable of lifting 25kg repeatedly
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and mathematical skills
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to changing schedules
  • Understanding of production machinery and maintenance procedures
  • Passion for continuous improvement and quality commitment

The working hours are from 6:00 pm to 4:30 am, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
