Overview

We are looking for a Production Operator located at our Site in New Plymouth. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the production facility whilst following established SOPs & maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the production facilities under the direction of the Production Supervisor or Senior Operator, whilst following established SOPs.
  • Produce products as requested in production plan or as requested by Production Supervisor or Senior Operator, including preparation of materials, producing/blending product, down packing and decanting of product into final sales pack
  • Ensure that products that are produced follow all relevant SOPs & are produced to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all production activities are recorded accurately (e.g. batch logs, pack down logs, etc).
  • Accurately enter data into SAP
  • Ensure that assigned work areas are kept clean & clear access is maintained.
  • Actively participate in workplace improvement programmes.
  • Proposing improvement ideas to Production Supervisor or Senior Operator.
  • Dedicated to adhering to EHSQ processes, systems, and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Attention to detail and has a safety focused approach, required
  • Numeracy & literacy, NCEA Level 1 preferred
  • Forklift license, required
  • Full drivers license, required
  • Computer literacy preferred
  • Previous operations experience preferred
  • Basic SAP knowledge or experience desirable
  • Proactive and willing to contribute ideas
  • Team player
