DMS Pukepack in Te Puke is seeking a proactive Production Engineer to join the Engineering/Maintenance team. You will help deliver site projects with high workmanship and timeliness while supporting both older machinery and modern automated fruit handling systems.
You will respond to breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime and collaborate with production operators to provide turnkey solutions and drive efficiency improvements across the packhouse.

We're looking for an energetic and hands-on Production Engineer tojoin our team at DMS Pukepack in Te Puke!
As the Production Engineer, you’ll help theEngineering/Maintenance team to ensure projects and tasks relating to the siteand plant is completed with a high quality of workmanship and in a timelymanner. There will be exposure to a wide range of equipment from oldermechanical fruit handling equipment to some of the latest automated Kiwifruithandling equipment.
You will be involved with in house manufacturingprojects for future developments and you will work closely with other membersof the team to regularly monitor and maintain site machinery as required. Youwill be required to react to breakdowns situations in a timely manner to reduceproduction downtime. You will also work closely with production operators toprovide a turnkey system assisting the wider team to achieve common goals and contributeany ideas you have for efficiency improvements.
Our packhouse operations operate 24/7 during peak seasons (Marchto June), therefore flexibility to work outside of normal hours and weekendswill be required.
