Job summary

arbitr is a 25-year global company with a focus on AI research and production-grade platforms. This AI Research Engineer role involves building end-to-end models, constructing retrieval and memory systems, and deploying scalable AI solutions in production.

You will work with the Head of AI Research and Model Engineering to push the frontier, own evaluation tooling, and collaborate with global partners to ship real results.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of model building concepts (LoRA, PT, reinforcement learning, and inference).
• Working background in data science and designing datasets.
• Ability to work independently or with a team of like-minded individuals.

Responsibilities

• Build custom models end-to-end for customers and platforms.
• Develop the systems around models: retrieval, memory, reasoning, orchestration.
• Own evaluation tooling and benchmarks to validate model quality.
• Push research by tracking and integrating new models/techniques into the stack.
• Design research workstreams from problem to production pipeline changes.
• Deploy and run models at scale on GPU infrastructure and monitor production.
