OceanaGold is seeking a Superintendent - Procurement & Supply Chain to lead the NZ operations, including procurement, sourcing, inventory management and supplier performance. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, governance and continuous improvement across Waihi and Macraes sites.

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in Logistics / Distribution / Supply Chain Management or similar is preferred.
Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.
Previous management and supervisory experience is required.
A minimum of 7 years of managing purchasing, warehousing and logistics is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the Supply Chain & Procurement function for NZ operations, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight.
Oversee procurement, sourcing, contract administration, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, materials planning and supplier performance management.
Collaborate with Group Procurement to implement enterprise procurement strategies, category plans and sourcing initiatives.
Ensure governance, risk management, compliance, and robust procurement controls are in place.
Lead a geographically dispersed team across Procurement, Warehousing, Inventory & Materials Management and Contract Administration.
