Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and experienced in supply chain operations? We’re seeking a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing business on a temporary assignment with potential to go permanent. This role is perfect for someone ready to step in and make an immediate impact during a peak period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Manage purchase orders, confirm delivery schedules, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transactions, procurement details, and new item creation in ERP systems.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to confirm orders, negotiate delivery terms, and resolve supply chain disruptions.
  • Price Negotiations: Conduct supplier price negotiations to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
  • Freight Arrangements: Organise freight and logistics solutions, collaborating with carriers to optimise delivery routes and costs.
  • Email Management: Prioritise and manage high-volume correspondence with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams for smooth communication.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining documentation for audits and reviews.

About You:

  • Experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
