Job summary

Select Recruitment is recruiting a Processing Supervisor for the Snowy River Gold Mine near Reefton on the West Coast. You will lead shift operations, support commissioning activities and help establish a safe, high-performing processing team.

Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, the role focuses on safe operation of the processing plant to meet production targets while upholding safety, environmental and operational standards. This is a pivotal growth phase for the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in metalliferous mineral processing.
• Previous supervisory or frontline leadership experience.
• Strong operational problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plant operations across crushing, milling, gravity recovery, flotation, tailings and water management.
• Drive safe, reliable and efficient production outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and develop Processing Operators.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Work closely with maintenance, metallurgy and technical teams.
• Support commissioning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Select Recruitment is proud to recruit a Processing Supervisor for the growing Snowy River Gold Mine near Reefton on the West Coast.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing gold operation during a pivotal growth phase. With production targeted within the next 6 months, the Processing Supervisor will play a key role in leading shift operations, supporting commissioning activities, and helping establish a safe, high-performing processing team.

Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, this position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the processing plant, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining strong safety, environmental and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

You are a practical and capable processing professional with strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to safety.

You will bring:

• Experience in metalliferous mineral processing.

• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Highly Regarded

• Gold processing experience.
• Experience with gravity recovery, intensive leach and flotation circuits.
• SCADA or process control systems experience.
• Commissioning or start-up plant experience.
• Forklift, loader or telehandler competencies.
• Frontline leadership qualifications.
• Current First Aid Certificate and Driver Licence
