Process Worker - Morning Shifts

Job summary

Hellers Limited is seeking passionate and hardworking process operators to join our factory in Wiri, Auckland. Prior experience in food manufacturing and a working knowledge of HACCP food safety principles are preferred.

You will work the 4.00am Monday to Friday shift, standing for long periods, with manual handling and frequent lifting. Applicants must be physically fit and able to work in a cold and wet environment; overtime is paid after 45 hours during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing and HACCP knowledge.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Active practitioner of food safety requirements from handling product through to cleaning equipment and work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate production processes to meet pace requirements with good dexterity.
• Maintain product quality and ensure clean, safe work areas in a cold environment.
• Work shifts with overtime paid after 45 hours during busy periods.

We need passionate and hardworking process operators to work at our factory in Wiri. Ideally candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in food manufacturing and a working knowledge of HACCP food safety principles.

Need to be physical fit and able to manually handle production for long periods of standing

You will have:

• Ability to work at speed requiring good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Attention to detail to ensure product quality meets required standard
• Good level of fitness to ensure ability to stand for duration of shift and ability to lift up heavy objects repeatedly using correct techniques
• Active practitioner of food safety requirements from handling of product through to cleaning the equipment, machinery and work area
• Able to work in a cold enviroment on Production floor
• currently working a minimum of 9 hour shifts with overtime paid after 45 hours

Candidates must be flexible to work shifts. There may be a requirement to work overtime during our busy season.

MORNING SHIFT starting at 4.00am MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Reliable transport is a must as public transport is not in service during the hours of work.
