Job description

## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Worker to join our sawmill team based in central Kaitaia. We have 5 vacancies to fill with start dates of early August 2025. The individuals in these role will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production.

## Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery in the sawmill to process raw materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Perform quality checks and report any issues to supervisors

## Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and possible weekends
- Familiarity with operating machinery and tools
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations

## Day-to-day
- Operating and monitoring machinery in the sawmill
- Collaborating with team members to optimize processes
- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
- Performing quality checks and reporting issues.

These roles will involve shift work including a mixture of night shifts and day shifts from Monday 0600 through to Saturday 1800.
