Job description

Process Team Leader – Scenic Southern Utah

The process team leader position is responsible for supervising plant employees in a mining processing and production environment. This position plans and assigns work and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure effective employee relations.
  • Provide process employee coaching and development.
  • Resolve process employee issues through problem resolution, with the assistance of the process manager and HR manager as required.
  • Balance safety, productivity, quality, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Work to continuously improve in all areas.
  • Manage crew performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to the process manager.
  • Operate all process plant functions with crew members, coordinating duties and tasks.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Manage crew priorities.
  • Track absenteeism and timekeeping.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position supervises all process operators in their day-to-day tasks.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Hours may vary but are typically 7 on, 7 off, Thursday through Wednesday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Overtime may be required as needed.

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Previous production or process plant team leader experience.
