Job summary

Halter is seeking a Process Engineering Manager - Production to own and lead the Production Process function, building the team, operating cadence, and standards required to deliver stable, scalable production outcomes.

You will hire and coach the Production Process team, translate strategy into quarterly priorities, and drive cross-functional alignment with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Design, Test, and Machine Design to land changes safely on the line.

• Lead and develop the Production Process team: hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance, feedback, and career growth.
• Translate production engineering strategy into clear quarterly priorities, project plans, and ownership across the team.
• Own process engineering execution across assigned lines/products, ensuring the team improves FPY, throughput, cycle time, rework, and escape prevention.
• Create a high-performance operating cadence for priorities, project reviews, escalation paths, risk visibility, documentation quality, and follow-through.
• Set standards for process validation, readiness evidence, work instructions, training, process controls, and reaction plans.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Design, Test, and Machine Design so changes land quickly and safely on the line.
• Coach engineers to solve from first principles, bring data-backed recommendations, and own outcomes end-to-end.
• Make balanced trade-offs between velocity and rigour, escalating only the highest-risk calls.
• Build team capability and leverage faster than headcount growth.
