Job summary

RD Petroleum Ltd in Christchurch, South Island, seeks a proactive Customer Service Representative to join a small but high performing team. This is a full-time role (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, within 7:30am–5:00pm.

It includes outbound calling (warm and cold), follow ups, retention activity, and occasional weekend on-call work. You will be the first voice customers hear, building rapport, asking great questions, and delivering positive experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a phone-based customer service role or similar environment.
• Confident outbound calling with cold calling experience advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to existing and potential customers.
• Support outbound campaigns for retention and product awareness.
• Build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Answer inquiries via phone and email.
• Process fuel card applications and assist with new accounts.
• Enter and update customer information in internal systems.
• Assist customers with fuel ordering and general admin tasks.
• Provide administrative support across the team.
