We are seeking a Principal Operational Technology Cyber Security Consultant to join our ANZ team in either Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Auckland. The purpose of this role is to undertake and take a leading role in the engagement with and delivery of projects for our Operational Technology and Cyber Security clients. You will successfully plan, manage and deliver projects to meet client requirements, help build the pipeline of work by developing and capitalising on internal and external client relationships and to provide technical inputs and leadership. Your attributes of being a self-starter fits well with Jacobs’ desire for the continued improvement and development of the OT and Cyber Security within Digital Solutions Performance Unit.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to:

  • Supervise and undertake projects within OT and Cyber Security market for critical infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrate ongoing technical competency and professional development and contribute and lead quality assurance activities.
  • Act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues, facilitating the professional development of others.
  • Use relationship with clients to identify and win upcoming work.
  • Serve as a Senior QC reviewer for projects across the company in your nominated area of expertise.
  • Identify, communicate and manage project risks and opportunities throughout a project lifecycle, and take actions to mitigate these risks.
  • Activity support pursuit and delivery of projects within the scope of OT and Cyber Security. Includes activities from development of pipeline with critical infrastructure clients, such as water authorities, through to development of proposals and other opportunity pursuit activities.
  • Manage programs of projects and deliver scope for major project deliveries.
  • Continuous up skill in area of expertise and share of knowledge through thought leadership engagement with broader Jacobs.
Here's what you'll need
  • Relevant Tertiary Degree (in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field).
  • Robust knowledge Operational Technology and Cyber Security standards and design arrangements.
  • Preparation of project lifecycle documents (including marketing and sales documents, proposals, consultancy reports and design documentation).
  • Uses strong interpersonal skills. Builds relationships with the team and with internal and external clients.
  • Experience in leadership of OT and cyber security pursuits and project delivery.
  • Track record in building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national codes and standards.
  • Experience with Stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain Continuous Professional Development and track market ends.
  • Work under minimal guidance, act as a resource for less experienced team members.
