Job summary

Tribe Group is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead across engineering and architecture in a large, transformation-driven environment. You will own standards, guide best practices, and influence how systems are built at scale across data, integration, and AI initiatives.

You will work on modernising core platforms, including Salesforce integration, and shape the technology landscape while navigating regulatory and enterprise complexity within a banking context.

Qualifications

• Experience leading across engineering teams and setting standards.
• Strong API design and service architecture experience.
• Ability to influence across data, integration and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead across the development layer, uplifting engineering standards, principles, and best practices.
• Drive integration across Salesforce and broader platforms, including API design and service architecture.
• Act as a thought leader, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with regulatory and enterprise standards.
• Shape and embed CI/CD pipelines, development frameworks, and engineering governance.
• Work cross-functionally to deliver scalable, resilient solutions across complex systems.
• Provide direction across data architecture, system design, and integration strategy.
• Support the adoption of AI and modern technologies as part of the broader roadmap.
• Influence senior stakeholders and bring clarity to complex technical and business challenges.
