Job summary

Jora New Zealand in Nelson is seeking a Principal Civil Structures Engineer to lead bridges and civil structures projects, providing technical leadership, design excellence and delivery oversight.

You will mentor the team, drive business development and client management, and oversee planning through delivery, including seismic design guidance for major infrastructure in the Nelson-Tasman region.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent required.
• CPEng certification highly preferred.
• Strong years of professional structural engineering experience.

Principal Civil Structures Engineer - Nelson

Join our Nelson team as a Principal Civil Structures Engineer and play a pivotal role in the growth of our business.

You’ll provide technical expertise, leadership and project management advice across multiple infrastructure projects, whilst providing ongoing mentorship and support to the wider team.

As a technical leader in the areas of transport infrastructure, bridging, ports and civil structures you’ll provide expert structural engineering and seismic design advice to clients, contribute to the technical development of employees and take the lead on key projects from planning through to delivery.
