Job summary

Fusion5 in New Zealand is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement transformations for large organisations. You will partner with senior stakeholders to shape engagement strategy, driving outcomes and influencing solution direction across Sales, Service, Marketing and Field Service.

You will mentor consultants, contribute to the growth of Fusion5's CE practice, and apply the latest Microsoft AI capabilities to lift delivery value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
• Proven success delivering complex customer engagement and CRM solutions.
• Strong executive stakeholder engagement and strategic decision making.
• Experience shaping estimates, proposals and commercial outcomes.
• Mentor consultants and develop future leaders.
• Experience leveraging AI capabilities to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Dynamics 365 CE engagements across Sales, Service, Marketing and Field Service.
• Act as trusted advisor, translating business goals into scalable solutions.
• Take ownership of customer outcomes, balancing needs and delivery constraints.
• Lead pre-sales activities including opportunity shaping, estimates, design, demos and proposals.
• Identify delivery, commercial and organizational risks early and drive resolution.
• Ensure high-quality delivery from discovery through value realisation.
• Mentor consultants and emerging leaders to lift capability.
• Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership and reusable assets.
• Apply Microsoft AI capabilities to improve customer and delivery outcomes.
