Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a related field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics) with relevant experience.
• Ability to design methods and standards across the statistics/data lifecycle.
• Experience turning design into development and regular operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and advice across Stats NZ and the data ecosystem.
• Promote integrated design thinking and standardisation across the ISDS.
• Mentor and coach staff within the branch and collaborate with Technology Services and Methods & Design.
