ACG Strathallan in South Auckland is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher for a 12-month fixed-term contract commencing January 2027. You will foster a nurturing, engaging and inclusive classroom that supports early literacy, numeracy and inquiry-based learning across primary years.

You will collaborate with Junior School staff, build strong partnerships with families and contribute to a holistic educational experience in a modern, well-resourced setting at Karaka on 15 hectares.

Formación

• Experience teaching primary year levels.
• Knowledge of structured literacy and evidence-based teaching approaches.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for primary students.
• Differentiate learning programmes to meet individual student needs.
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress to inform next steps in learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing and belonging.
• Foster partnerships with parents and caregivers to support student learning.
• Collaborate with Junior School colleagues and contribute to school initiatives.
