Job summary

Price Holyoake, East Tamaki, North Island, is seeking a full-time toolmaker/maintenance role. The successful candidate will build and maintain press tools, jigs, and fixtures, and work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic roll forming.

You will read engineering drawings, repair production machinery, perform fault finding, and support tooling improvements in a busy workshop while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance and toolmaking in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in manual machining: lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses.
• Experience welding, fabrication, fitting and assembly.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD layouts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Manufacture, repair and modify tooling, jigs and fixtures.
• Operate manual machines safely and efficiently.
• Fitting, assembly and welding of components.
• Read engineering drawings to manufacture/install components.
• Support senior toolmaker and tooling improvement projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.
