Job summary

Logick Print and Graphics Ltd in Auckland is seeking an organised Pre-press Mac operator and Digital Printer to join our Penrose-based team. You will check artwork files, prepare proofs, and support both digital and offset print workflows.

You will handle imposition, QA, colour management, and file preparation, with room to take on additional responsibilities. We value attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive work ethic.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Pre-Press experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office.
• Computer literate and quick learner.
• Experience with Fiery Command Workstation preferred.
• Experience with Ricoh or similar digital presses ideal.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check artwork files for print readiness.
• Provide artwork proofs to clients.
• Order plates, foil blocks and die-cutters.
• Typeset and update layouts to client files.
• Impose files for digital and offset print.
• Perform QA on digital files and offset plates.
• Operate the digital press and laminator.
• Colour management and problem solving.
• Prepare job bags and handle client/supplier inquiries.
• Assist with packing and dispatch as needed.
