The University of Auckland invites applications for a Practice Nurse to join our general practice nursing team across Grafton and City Campuses, serving students in a multidisciplinary health setting.
We seek a registered nurse with experience with young adults and diverse communities, an interest in sexual health and mental health, and a willingness to obtain an Independent Vaccinator Authorisation Certificate if needed. The role is full-time with competitive salary and generous leave.
We are seeking a Practice Nurse to join our general practice nursing team working across our Grafton and City Campuses. Our clinics specifically support our students and are not open to the general public.
Ideally, we are looking for a nurse withexperience working in a multidisciplinary health setting with proven clinical experience with young adults and diverse communities. This would be a great role for someone with an interest in sexual health, mental health, and a supportive wellness approach.
The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis.
Rostered hours are: Monday 08:00-18.00, Tuesday- Thursday 0800-17.00 and Friday 08.00-14.20.
We offer a competitive salary, which is bolstered by our Kiwi Saver/Unisaver contributions, which can match up to 6.75% of your salary. On top of this, we also have 25 days of annual leave a year, with a Christmas shutdown to ensure we all get a good summer break.
The salary range for this role is $73,400 - $90,700 prorated per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will join a nursing team of eight managed by a Nurse Lead and supported by an effective administrative team. To succeed in this role, you will be a registered nurse interested in sexual health, mental health, and ideally experienced within a general practice. You will be motivated to provide quality service and enjoy working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve this. It is important that you have an Independent Authorised Vaccinator Certificate or be willing to take the training course to be qualified.
