Job summary

Lumino The Dentists in Kaitaia seeks an experienced Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a busy dental practice, during a pivotal 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll partner with clinicians and support teams to deliver outstanding patient care, optimise workflows, and foster a positive team culture.

You’ll oversee front-of-house, administration, staffing, recruitment, and compliance with policies and health and safety requirements, while living within commuting distance of Kaitaia

Qualifications

• Experience in a Practice Manager, Office Manager, Team Leader, or similar leadership role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A positive, solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within healthcare, dental, or a customer-focused industry would be highly regarded.
• Strong administration and computer skills.
• The ability to motivate, coach, and support team members to achieve success.

Job Description

As Practice Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the practice while supporting both our patients and team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting a high‑performing team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Hours

• Monday to Thursday : 8:30am to 5:15pm
• Friday : 08:30am to 4:00pm

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Office Manager, Team Leader, Business Manager, or similar leadership role.

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• A positive, solutions‑focused approach.
• Confidence working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience within healthcare, dental, or a customer‑focused industry would be highly regarded.

• Valid NZ work rights
