Job summary

Lumino The Dentists in Kaitaia seeks an experienced Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a busy dental practice, during a pivotal 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll partner with clinicians and support teams to deliver outstanding patient care, optimise workflows, and foster a positive team culture.

You’ll oversee front-of-house, administration, staffing, recruitment, and compliance with policies and health and safety requirements, while living within commuting distance of Kaitaia

Qualifications

• Experience in a Practice Manager, Office Manager, Team Leader, or similar leadership role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A positive, solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within healthcare, dental, or a customer-focused industry would be highly regarded.
• Strong administration and computer skills.
• The ability to motivate, coach, and support team members to achieve success.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting a high-performing team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Managing reception operations and providing front-of-house support when required.
• Overseeing practice administration, staff scheduling, and daily operational workflows.
• Supporting a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Managing patient enquiries and ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
• Monitoring practice performance, billing processes, and operational efficiency.
• Working closely with clinicians and support teams to achieve practice goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives as required.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
