Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) is hiring a Senior Technical Specialist to own the Power Platform and AI capabilities across BNZ’s low-code environment. You will lead engineering maturity, deployment pipelines, automation, reporting, and secure, enterprise-scale delivery of Copilot Studio agents.

You will mentor engineers, influence architecture and security teams, and drive standards that enable reliable, scalable AI services. This role sits at the heart of BNZ's AI capability journey in Wellington.

Qualifications

Senior- level platform engineering experience.
Experience delivering enterprise-grade AI/low-code platforms.
Ability to mentor engineers and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own the technical design, engineering maturity, and reliable operation of platform capabilities.
Lead implementation of the platform roadmap and secure production-ready services.
Establish engineering standards, automation, and governance for repeatable delivery.
Document decisions across environments, lifecycle management, and security.
Lead complex troubleshooting and coordinate cross-platform incident resolution.
Mentor engineers and influence architects, security teams, and stakeholders.
