Job summary

Tetra Pak in Hamilton, New Zealand, is seeking a Project Engineer for Powder Handling to lead draft and design work, deliver P&IDs and layouts, and support installation, commissioning and validation on international projects.

You will work closely with clients to develop concept designs, manage budgets, and ensure project milestones are met, with travel as required. A strong CAD background and NZCE or degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of engineering experience.
• NZCE or degree in Mechanical/Process Engineering.
• Experience in powder food process design.
• Strong CAD skills (2D/3D).
• Knowledge of SAP for cost control.

Responsibilities

• Draft and design mechanical systems for powder handling projects.
• Prepare P&IDs, fabrication layouts and drawings.
• Develop as-built drawings and technical documentation.
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation on offshore projects.
• Collaborate with clients to refine concept designs while managing budgets.
