Job summary

Tāmaki School in Auckland invites three excellent pouako (teachers) to join our kura permanently. We teach across Years 1–8 in English-medium, Māori-medium, and bilingual pathways, with a focus on culturally responsive practice.

We seek teachers who are reflective, reliable, and committed to excellent learner outcomes, who build warm, demanding relationships, collaborate with colleagues, and use evidence to accelerate progress. Strong interests in te reo Māori and mātauranga Māori are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current teaching certificate with New Zealand registration.
• Demonstrated ability to implement culturally responsive classroom practices.
