Opportunity

The Portfolio Manager - Clinical & Practice Services position plays a key role in the management of our contracts and programmes. It also supports the implementation of aspects of our Population Health Strategy. It achieves this through pragmatic engagement across the ProCare network, ensuring delivery against a variety of DHB and non-DHB projects, programmes or service lines.

A crucial link between various ProCare departments, this role will take complete ownership of their allocated project/programme works, ensuring the various work-streams are managed in line with contract budgets and deliverables.

This position will also be required to proactively provide performance reporting on the status of all allocated work, flagging any issues or obstacles as early as possible and escalating as needed.

Key Skills
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years' work experience in a similar role with a strong business, account management, and customer services background
  • Experience working within a Healthcare environment is ideal
  • Formal project management certification (Prince2 or PMP) preferred or evidence of equivalent experience
  • You're a natural collaborator and effective communicator who is able to consult with and bring diverse groups of people together to establish positive outcomes
  • An interest in or passion to play a part in improving equitable health outcomes for the population of Tamaki Makaurau
  • A desire to understand and appreciate Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to ProCare and how it shapes our efforts
