Reinventing Bathrooms. Powered by Great People.
Are you a plumber looking for a change from the day-to-day demands of installation work, while still using your practical skills and plumbing knowledge?
Plumbline is looking for an experienced, hands-on Plumber / Service Technician to join our team based in Newmarket. This is a varied role supporting our premium bathroomware products across the Northern Region, including troubleshooting, repairs, installation support and customer service.
You’ll work directly with homeowners, plumbers, builders, merchants and our internal team to diagnose product or installation issues, provide practical solutions, and ensure our customers receive the high standard of service Plumbline is known for.
This could suit an experienced plumber who enjoys fault finding and working with customers, and is looking for a role with greater variety and less time spent on full-scale installation work.
Attend service calls across Auckland and the wider Northern Region.
Diagnose and resolve plumbing, installation and product-related issues.
Carry out repairs, adjustments and product servicing where required.
Provide practical technical advice to customers, plumbers, merchants and internal teams.
Support the installation and correct use of Plumbline bathroomware products.
Manage service requests through to resolution in a professional and timely manner.
Represent Plumbline positively in customers’ homes, on site and with our trade partners.
Build strong knowledge across our product range through ongoing training and support.
You will be practical, professional and comfortable working independently in the field. You take pride in finding the right solution, communicate well with customers, and understand the importance of quality workmanship and excellent service.
You will ideally bring:
Plumbing experience and strong practical knowledge of plumbing installations, repairs and fault finding.
Experience as a plumber, maintenance plumber, service technician or in a similar hands-on trade role.
Confidence dealing with customers and trade professionals in person and over the phone.
Good diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
A full New Zealand driver licence.
Basic computer confidence for managing service jobs and communication.
A positive, accountable and solutions-focused approach.
This is an opportunity to use your plumbing expertise in a different way. Rather than being focused on full installation jobs every day, you’ll be solving problems, supporting quality products and helping customers and trades achieve the right outcome.
You’ll have:
A varied, practical role with autonomy and customer interaction.
Ongoing training across Plumbline’s premium bathroomware range.
The support of an experienced team and strong supplier network.
Access to industry-leading products and showrooms.
Competitive remuneration aligned with your experience.
The opportunity to join a stable, successful New Zealand-owned business.
