The role requires NZ-qualified tradesman or certifying plumber status, 2–3 years post-qualification experience, and a clean NZ driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• NZ-qualified tradesman or Certifying Plumber (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2–3 years post-qualification experience in commercial/industrial facilities maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
• Clear communication and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full, clean NZ driver's licence.
• Site Safe or Construct Safe certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to plumbing faults, blockages, leaks, and urgent call-outs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on water systems, water heaters, backflow devices, and valves.
• Repair or replace water lines and sewer lines.
• Complete minor installation and upgrade works (tapware, pipework, hot water units, fixtures).
• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and Health & Safety standards.

Plumber / Hydraulic Services Technician

Temporary Plumber (temp-to-perm potential) for commercial/institutional maintenance sites. $42–$44/hr, vehicle & PPE provided.

Temporary (with a view to Temp-to-Perm) | $42–$44 per hour. We're looking for a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our maintenance team on a temporary basis, with strong potential to move to a permanent role for the right person. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving plumbing issues across a wide range of commercial, government, and institutional facilities.

Core Duties

• Respond to plumbing faults, blockages, leaks, and urgent call-outs
