Platypus Shoes in Chartwell is hiring a Christmas Sales Assistant to bring energy, good vibes and a can-do attitude to our busy peak season. If you love sneakers, fast-paced days and helping customers, you’ll fit right in.

From helping customers find their perfect kicks to unpacking stock and packing online orders, this role keeps the store moving. Availability Oct 2026 to mid-Jan 2027, weekends and late nights encouraged; retail experience helps but isn’t essential.

About The Role

Step into the season in style with Platypus Shoes at our Chartwell store! As Christmas Sales Assistants, you'll bring energy, good vibes, and a can-do attitude to our busiest (and most fun) time of year.

From helping customers find their perfect kicks to unpacking stock or packing online orders, every shift brings something new. If you love sneakers, fast-paced days, and great people, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a standout experience for every customer - make it memorable
• Support your team to smash sales and KPI goals
• Keep stock moving – receive, restock, and keep shelves full
• Pick and pack click & dispatch orders
• Keep the store looking fresh and tidy
• Bring good vibes and a team-first attitude every shift

What We're Looking For

• Full availability from October 2026 to mid-January 2027, including weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
• Retail experience is great, but not a must
• Passion for sneakers, streetwear, and delivering outstanding customer service
• Love the hustle of a fast-paced team environment
• Self-motivated and goal-driven
• Open to learning, feedback, and being your best
