Job summary

Platypus Shoes, part of Accent Group, invites you to join our Blenheim store as a Christmas Sales Assistant. You’ll energize customers, unpack stock, and help with online orders during our busiest season. If sneakers and streetwear excite you, you’ll fit right in and contribute to a dynamic team.

Open availability from October 2026 to mid-January 2027, including weekends and late shifts. Retail experience helps but isn’t required; we value hustle, positivity, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Step into the season in style with Platypus Shoes at our Blenheim store! As Christmas Sales Assistants, you'll bring energy, good vibes, and a can-do attitude to our busiest (and most fun) time of year.

From helping customers find their perfect kicks to unpacking stock or packing online orders, every shift brings something new. If you love sneakers, fast-paced days, and great people, you’ll fit right in.

What We're Looking For

• Full availability from October 2026 to mid-January 2027, including weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
• Retail experience is great, but not a must
• Passion for sneakers, streetwear, and delivering outstanding customer service
• Love the hustle of a fast-paced team environment
• Self-motivated and goal-driven
• Open to learning, feedback, and being your best
