You will support and develop your team while balancing your focus on maximising the value delivered by the team.Based in either Auckland or Wellington, this fixed-term opportunity runs through to October 2028, giving you the scope to make a meaningful contribution across a significant, multi-year transformation.**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**We sat down with the Platform Manager and they told us the following about the role:**What are some of the day-to-day tasks the person in this role will complete?**You’ll work within an Agile product team, helping to shape and deliver solutions as part of BNZ’s Core Ledger Replacement programme. This includes:* Define and communicate a clear platform vision and strategy aligned with BNZ’s strategic goals, driving the platform team towards operational excellence.* Lead technical roles such as engineers and technical specialists through all employee lifecycle stages—attraction, recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding. Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability to drive performance and alignment with business goals.* Utilise customer insights and foster collaboration between the platform team and end users to guide informed platform decisions that meet evolving needs.* Apply data analysis and metrics to support decisions that enhance platform reliability, performance, and usability.* Prioritise platform enhancements based on customer value, business impact, and resources, ensuring application management aligns with the Critical Hygiene Framework (CHF).**What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?**Few opportunities give you the chance to help rebuild the engine room of a bank.
