Placements24 invites a skilled Plant Pathologist to lead disease management in the Queenstown region. You will diagnose crop diseases, conduct field and lab analyses, and work with farmers and agronomists to implement effective IPM strategies that minimize losses and support sustainable farming.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Ph.D. in Plant Pathology (or related field), with 5+ years’ experience in agricultural disease diagnosis and management.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant disease diagnosis and management in an agricultural setting.
• Strong knowledge of fungal, bacterial, viral, and other plant pathogens affecting major crops.
• Experience with laboratory diagnostic techniques and disease survey methodologies.
• Familiarity with integrated pest and disease management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for farmer engagement.
