Job description
About the role

You'll be spending a good chunk of your day in the dryer tower, so you'll need to be okay working in warm conditions (around 30–40°C). Regular breaks are part of the deal. The position also requires frequent stair climbing and movement throughout the tower, so being reasonably fit and active is important.

If you’ve got an eye for detail, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a team that’s Doing Milk Differently, this is your chance.

What You’ll Be Doing

The main responsibilities of this role include

  • Carry out daily detailed cleaning of dryer plants, red line areas, and tower to control micro risk.
  • Ensure all critical cleaning consumables are stocked and available.
  • Support companywide initiatives to improve plant hygiene and cleaning systems.
  • Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve GMP or hygiene improvements.
  • Proactively follow housekeeping schedules and respond to environmental results to continuously improve processes.
What we offer
  • Work-life balance – rotating roster of one of two shifts available: Shift 1, Sunday–Thurs, 6am–2:30PM; Shift 2, Friday–Tuesday, 9:30am–6pm.
  • Health & wellbeing – fully covered health insurance plus access to exclusive partner discounts.
  • Family-friendly support – industry-leading parental leave through our Matua policy.
  • Sustainable values – we’re proud to be B Corp certified.
  • Community & connection – join our active Social Club.
  • Easy commute – bus service to and from Rolleston with onboard Wi-Fi.
  • Career growth – ongoing development and progression opportunities.
Skills And Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning (preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge of environmental pathogens would be an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work well with others.
