Help Lead the Magic of Giving – Join Our 2025 Christmas Food Drive Team!


Volunteer Roles –** Planning & Event Delivery**

The New Plymouth Community Foodbank Christmas Food Drive has grown into a major community event — with over 1,500 volunteers taking part over 2 days in 2024!


As we prepare for our biggest and most impactful drive yet, we’re looking for skilled and passionate volunteers to help organise and oversee the smooth running of this important event.

We’re seeking people who can offer time and talent in the lead-up and during the event. You’ll be part of a supportive team working to ensure the drive reaches the next level of success — delivering the greatest benefit to the Community Foodbank and the people we serve.

Roles Available (multiple positions):
Logistics & Transport Coordination
Volunteer Team Management
Community Engagement & Partnerships
Advertising & Promotions (social media, print, radio)
On-the-Day Event Support & Oversight

Skills/Attributes We’re Looking For:

- Experience in logistics or event planning

- Great people and communication skills

- Strong community connections or confidence engaging others

- Organised, proactive, and a team player

- Passionate about helping those in need
