About the Role:

This role involves high-precision pipe welding, fabrication and fitting using stainless and carbon steel.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform high-quality TIG, MIG, and ARC welding and fitting of stainless and carbon steel pipes and components.
  2. Fabricate, install, and inspect piping systems and structural metalwork.
  3. Accurately read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical documents.
  4. Use cutting and shaping tools including plasma and laser cutters.
  5. Finish welds to a high standard, cleaning, polishing, and quality checking all work.
  6. Conduct pressure testing and ensure welds meet structural and safety standards.
  7. Complete installations and repairs in industrial environments.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in pipe welding and fitting.
  2. Strong proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
  3. Ability to handle 3x 15 NB pipes and execute Sequence 18 welding to a high standard.
  4. Expertise in 150 Sequence 80 flux core welding for fill and cap operations.
  5. Proven experience with pipe fitting in industrial settings, including plants and processing facilities.
  6. Ability to interpret complex engineering and technical drawings.
  7. Possession of personal tools and reliable transport.
  8. Two verifiable work references.
  9. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  10. Trade qualification preferred (extensive experience will also be considered).
