Job summary

TopmaQ is seeking a Warehouse Picker / Packer for its Christchurch operations. The role involves picking, packing and dispatching goods for courier and bulk transport, using electric forklifts and order pickers as required. You will keep the warehouse clean and ensure accuracy in dispatches.

Regular hours are Mon-Fri with some Saturdays; pre-employment checks and training on company systems are provided. Physical fitness and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift license is required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch goods for courier and bulk transport.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the picking, packing and dispatching of goods for courier and bulk transport, with use of fully electric Jungheinrich 3-wheel forklifts, man-up order pickers and man-up turret trucks. There may be a requirement to assist with occasional container devanning. He or she must ensure that areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition.

Picking and dispatching accuracy are paramount.

Possessing a current forklift license is a requirement.

TopmaQ requires all successful candidates to complete a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol test, a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check and a pre-employment ACC check.

The successful applicant, who will be responsible to the TopmaQ Christchurch Warehouse Manager, will be given training in the computer and warehouse management systems adopted by the company.

Hours of work will be Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm. There will also be a requirement for rostered Saturday work (currently 9am-1pm, approximately 1-2 Saturdays per month).
